In 1992, Magicon's closing ceremony was unusually effective at brining people together. Joe Siclari ended the convention by asking people to bring things to contribute to a fannish time capsule.
We could create a 2005 version by having a large box into which people could put things along with a big sheet of paper on which they could writer their names and what they contributed. We could also make this specifically an Interthingy time capsule.
